Advocacy Day in Albany 2018 - EARN 8.5 CUs!

Speaker: Audrey Hoover, MSN, FNP-BC, WHNP, RN

 

Learning Objectives: Identify criteria for issues of importance to NPs and discuss bills that are pending in both houses.                          

Identify the legislative membership of relevant committees as they relate to issues or bills, and learn how to navigate the Senate/ Assembly web site                          

Learn and rehearse the elements of a successful lobby visit                         

Identify relevant aspects to report to reflect legislators’ stands on issues

Date/Time: March 14th, 2018 8am to 6pm

 Location: Albany, NY

We offer members and non members a trip to Albany leaving Manhattan and returning the same day. 

Please RSVP to reserve your seat on the bus. Registrants will receive a confirmation email with details. 

Bus will be departing at 6:30 AM sharp from Penn Station 8th Ave and 31 st.
