The Limping Child session provides a focused, evidence‑based overview of the evaluation and management of limp in children. Participants will strengthen skills in age‑appropriate history taking, gait assessment, and musculoskeletal examination to differentiate benign conditions from urgent infectious, inflammatory, traumatic, and orthopedic causes. Emphasis is placed on recognizing red‑flag symptoms, selecting and interpreting first‑line diagnostic tests, applying clinical decision tools such as the Kocher Criteria, and developing appropriate initial management plans to ensure timely, safe, and effective patient care.
