Berlin, New Hampshire: A respected nonprofit healthcare system serving northern New Hampshire invites a PAIN MANAGEMENT Nurse Practitioner to join an established multidisciplinary team providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Providers here practice in a collaborative outpatient environment focused on responsible pain management, patient education, and whole-person care. The program integrates medication management, minor procedural care, and coordinated referrals for advanced interventional treatments, allowing clinicians to practice at the top of their license while improving quality of life for patients across the region. Providers join an established multidisciplinary team that values clinical autonomy while encouraging collaboration, shared expertise, and collegial consultation. The program emphasizes a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to pain care focused on long-term function, safety, and patient partnership.
Position Highlights
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Manage medications including controlled substances using established protocols
- Perform minor procedures (trigger point/joint injections, occipital nerve blocks, cold ablation, Botox for migraines, etc.)
- Expand procedural skills with team support and ongoing clinical collaboration
- Collaborate with CRNAs, physicians, and allied health in a multidisciplinary care model
- Refer advanced interventional procedures internally for continuity of care
- Maintain an independent patient panel with strong team support
- Shared phone-only call rotation (1:4 weeks) once established
- No weekend or holiday shifts
- Based in Berlin with occasional coverage in nearby communities
- Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Full-time schedule, choice of 4 or 5 days per week

- Competitive salary (est. $150K) plus wRVU productivity incentives
