Dear NPNY members and friends,

We would like to extend an invitation for you to join an upcoming New York City Adult Immunization Coalition meeting. The New York City (NYC) Adult Immunization Coalition is comprised of vaccine stakeholders such as medical facilities, healthcare and managed care organizations, federal, state and city government agencies, community-based organizations, colleges, universities, chain and independent pharmacies, and vaccine manufacturers as well as Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) staff from the Bureau of Immunization and other bureaus. The Coalition is committed to adult vaccination programs, eliminating barriers and identifying strategies to promote increased use of adult vaccines and reduce vaccine-preventable disease in adults. Quarterly meetings are held in which speakers present on relevant topics such as influenza vaccine coverage among adults, updates from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, implementation of flu vaccine mandates for healthcare workers, introduction and promotion of newly licensed vaccines.

If you are interested in attending, the next coalition meeting will take place on Thursday, December 1st 2016 from 10AM-12PM in the Hermann Biggs Auditorium at 2 Gotham Center, 42-09 28th Street in Long Island City, NY, 11101.
