Reproductive Coercion

Posted over 8 years ago by Susan Moscou

Dear Health Care Provider and Administration,

I am a PhD student at the University of Virginia (UVA) conducting research project investigating providers’ knowledge, attitude and practice towards intimate partner violence and am seeking to collect data via electronic survey with medical doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and midwives. I am recruiting study participants and I write to ask if it would be possible to have the following message sent to the medical providers at your organization. The notice reads as follows:

A study investigating health care provider’s knowledge, attitudes and practices towards intimate partner violence is seeking participations to take part in an electronic survey. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes.

If you are a medical doctor, nurse practitioner, midwife or physician assistant who provides reproductive health care to women of reproductive age and are interested in participating, please go to this link: https://surveyapp.nursing.virginia.edu/ReproductiveCoercion

Please feel free to forward to any provider who might be interested in participating.

Please let me know if you have any questions and if it is possible to have the notice sent.

Thank you for your consideration,

Colleen Sanders, RN, FNP, PhD student
