AANP/ Politico Scope of Practice Briefing

AANP President Angela Golden, DNP, FNP-C, FAANP, joined a prestigious panel on Tuesday, March 19, for a discussion on defining the scope of practice. The Pro Health Care Breakfast Briefing, sponsored by Politico, was considered a great success. Well over 1,000 Tweets referenced #ProHCBB and reached approximately 26,000 unique users. The live stream was viewed by more than 225 online accounts. Dr. Golden said, “It was an honor to represent nurse practitioners on this panel and advocate for full practice authority for NPs across the nation.” The event took place at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. Panel members joining Angie included:
