Volunteer Opportunity

My name is Stephen and I'm the Programming Coordinator at PALS Programs, a nonprofit that creates immersive experiences for young adults with Down syndrome and their peers. To this end, we run week-long overnight camps at universities all over the country during which we pair campers with Down syndrome 1-1 with volunteer counselors to foster friendships between all kinds of folks.

 

To ensure the health and safety of all our participants, we recruit volunteer medical professionals to stay with us at camp. The primary responsibilities of this role are medical disbursement and basic triage. Qualified individuals include, doctors, nurses, EMTs, and PAs.

 

We are also recruiting medical volunteers for our upcoming program at Fordham University from 6/22 - 6/30. Applications can be submitted here on our website.
