Hello everyone,
Hope you are able to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather the past few days on this NYC Marathon Weekend! We applaud all of our NPNY members volunteering at the marathon medical sites and supporting so many great charities.
Mid-term elections are in full swing. NY and NJ continue early voting until SUNDAY 11/6. General Election Day is Tuesday 11/8. Give yourself extra time Tuesday to vote-- And encourage your friends, colleagues and patients to vote! The NYS mid-term election has numerous key positions including Governor. We are witnessing the ever changing shift of federal and state power.
Where do I vote? Go to www.vote.org for your voting location. Early voting locations may be different than your election day polling place. FLIP your ballot over. NY Voters--Familiarize yourself with the ballot ahead of time and 4 additional ballot measures here and here.
EVERY vote contributes to American democracy. In 2020, NY-22 Congressional District in upstate NY was decided by just 109 votes. It took nearly 3+ months of counting and certifying each vote before the election was called. If you have not followed our Instagram account, it is another way to obtain information on the election and voting.
