I am writing in support of bringing S6800/A6445 to a full floor vote in the Senate and bring to committee and full floor vote in the Assembly and pass this bill. As a NP in NYS providing care to New Yorkers, this bill creates  permanent  full practice authority. The NP Modernization Act currently sunsets in 2024, placing hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers at risk with no healthcare provider. Last week, the bill passed through the Senate’s Higher EducationCommittee unanimously.
