California Committee Fails to Move SB 491 Forward

Senate Bill 491 picked up extensive amendments in yesterday’s California Assembly Committee on Business, Professions and Consumer Protection, but failed to pick up sufficient votes to move forward. Senator Hernandez secured a week for reconsideration, and the committee will vote again in one week.
