Volunteer Nurses Needed to Work In New Jersey This Summer
Posted about 10 years ago by Carmen Saunders
Nurses in the NY/NJ area wanted at Camp Kesem at Columbia this summer!
Camp Kesem ( www.campkesem.org) hosts one-week long summer camps for children affected by a parent's cancer, provided entirely free-of-charge. It is an amazing non-profit organization at over 60 college campuses nationwide. The magic of Camp Kesem is that it gives kids the opportunity to be kids and build a community – campers and counselors alike – who understand what they are going through.
Camp Kesem at Columbia's session is from August 30th to September 4th. They are looking for RNs to volunteer for the full week of camp. This is an incredible opportunity to work with kids 6-16 and take a break from the real world! Important to note: the camp will be held in NJ, so we need RNs who are licensed to practice in that state.
