New Jersey: Modernization of NP State Practice Laws Take First Step

Posted over 11 years ago by Juliette Blount

The bills to remove the unnecessary, outdated, bureaucratic joint practice requirement for NPs in New Jersey just took their first official steps. Grace Reilly, legislative chairwoman of AANP group member NJSNA -Forum of Nurses in Adv Practice and participant on the Joint Protocol Group, along with Sandy Quinn, President NJSNA Region 4, and Pat Barnett, CEO NJSNA, handed the bill into the senate offices this week. New Jersey AANP members are encouraged to watch their emails and visit the NJSNA-Forum of Nurses in Advanced Practice website for news and details on upcoming webinars related to this legislation.
